She is dedicated to treating patients in a holistic manner as she believes the mind and body are intertwined. Her ultimate goal is to improve clinical outcomes while fully involving patients to help them make well-informed decisions about their treatment.

Background

Dr. Berry grew up in southeastern Michigan. All of her training was completed locally in Michigan. She was awarded a Distinguished Student Leader 4-year full-tuition scholarship for her undergraduate education. Dr. Berry received the Silver TOUCH Award for community service hours in medical school as she has a strong passion for giving back to her hometown community. She won the fellow-in-training poster presentation award at the Michigan chapter of the American College of Cardiology during her fellowship. Additionally, Dr. Berry participated in the American College of Cardiology Fellows in training jeopardy contest and won first place in the Michigan chapter and then went on to the national competition and made it to the semi-finals. Dr. Berry knew she wanted to be a doctor in high school with her combined interests in biological studies and excellent social skills. Dr. Berry is married with twin girls who are now almost four years of age. When Dr. Berry is not treating patients, she likes to spend time with her family. She also enjoys running, reading, and traveling to new places.
