About The Provider
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Marchese’s philosophy of care is about building a trusting relationship with her patients, and provide compassionate care through open communication and respect for the patient’s concerns. Dr. Marchese’s goal is to help patients of all ages prevent, understand, and manage both acute and chronic illness.
Dr. Adriane Marchese was born and raised in Metro Detroit. She drew inspiration at a very young age from her Pediatrician, Dr. Gennaro DiMaso, that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Marchese attended Marian High School in Bloomfield Hills, followed by the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where she majored in Biopsychology with a minor in Italian. During this time, she worked dissecting cadavers on behalf of medical students and her research conducted in the cadaver lab earned her numerous publications, most notably in the Journal of Plastination. After college she worked in a Liver Transplant Unit, alongside her sister Lauren, learning about Italian Healthcare in Turin, Italy. She later graduated with a Masters of Science degree at Wayne State University before receiving her Medical Degree at Michigan State College of Human Medicine. Dr. Marchese then chose a residency program where she could work in an underserved community and completed her training at McLaren Hospital in Flint. While at McLaren, she volunteered to work the COVID unit when the pandemic was at its peak. She continues to practice alongside her twin sister Lauren. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys traveling, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
