"Having been a previous competitive athlete with my own handful of set backs, I understand the struggles that a musculoskeletal injury can place on a person’s daily life. For this reason among others, I find myself able to relate to my patients. I always try to instill a positive attitude in patients from the very first visit."
When taking care of those with acute and/or chronic injuries, Dr. Makki’s practice philosophy involves interacting with each patient on a personal level in order to better understand the full scope of factors contributing to their ailment. He believes that paying close attention to a patient’s story plays a key role in deciding the next step for each individual. Dr. Makki aims to treat every case as a top priority and hopes to make a positive impact on each patient that he has the privilege of treating.
Dr. Makki is no stranger to Michigan, having completed his Family Medicine residency at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, MI.
