As an Interventional cardiologists, Dr. Sam Qaqi specializes in minimally invasive procedures that rely on catheters and small incisions instead of traditional surgery. These procedures include balloon angioplasty to open blocked arteries, implantation of coronary stents to hold open previously blocked arteries and cardiac catheterizations.
Dr. Qaqi is a board certified Interventional Cardiologist. He completed his training at the Detroit Medical Center Heart Hospital, where he saw and treated some of the most complex and high risk patients in the country. He is also trained and efficient in the newest technology available to treat arterial disease.
Dr. Qaqi; The oldest of 6 siblings, was born in Ohio, raised in the states of Florida and California. When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Qaqi loves to be outdoors playing golf, riding his bike, and spending time with his family.
