"I'm honored to care for many of the Detroit area's professional athletes, and I enjoy helping them regain motion and return to their respective sports. However, I'm equally committed to the health and well-being of the patient who may be more of a weekend athlete or a sports enthusiast. My job is to work with patients to determine the cause of their discomfort and then bring in research-based diagnostic and treatment tools that will help them stay active."
Dr. Lemos is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a focus on sports medicine. He is also President and Chair of the DMC Sports Medicine Program, which was established by Dr. Lemos in 2006 to offer healthcare services to the players of Detroit's professional athletic teams and their families. He offers a full range of orthopedic services and surgeries related to the musculoskeletal system.
