About The Provider
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Todor Toromanovski’s philosophy of care is to provide quality, evidence-based care for all ages, with compassion and empathy. He places importance on preventative medicine and social determinants of health. Dr. Toromanovski believes that creating deep, long-lasting relationships with his patients is key to improving their overall health. He promotes patient education and making the patient a part of their treatment plan.
Background
For as long as he can remember, Dr. Toromanovski has had a special interest in life sciences, biology, and medicine. His love for sciences – along with his own inspiring family of doctors – fueled his initial passion for medicine at a very young age. Dr. Toromanovski obtained his medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas, Saint Kitts and Nevis. He completed a family medicine residency locally at Ascension Genesys Hospital (formerly Genesys Regional Medical Center) in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Toromanovski loves working in Detroit since it allows him to stay close to family in Toronto, Canada. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Toromanovski enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing soccer and basketball, and traveling.
